A boxed army designed for Warhammer: The Old World, offering a balanced mix of infantry, missile troops, cavalry and specialist units. The set gives a strong foundation for a new collection or a sizeable expansion for an existing force.

Army Composition And Roles

This collection centers on a large core of Empire State Troops to hold objectives, supported by ranged units, shock troops and light cavalry. State Missile Troops and Empire Archers provide fire support; Flagellants are available for close-quarters pressure; Outriders bring mobility for harassment and disruption; a single Commander leads the force.

Models And Build Options

  • 5 Outriders (can alternatively be assembled as Pistoliers)
• Customization highlights:
  • Commander can be built with either a feathered helm or a hat.
  • Empire State Troops include parts for optional champions, standard bearers and musicians; each trooper can be armed with a halberd or a spear.
  • State Missile Troops include an optional champion, musician and standard bearer; each trooper can be equipped with a crossbow or a handgun. The champion can be built with a Hochland long rifle and a powder monkey.
  • Empire Archers include interchangeable arms, heads and weapons; the sprues also include two Orc figures usable as scenery or basing elements.
  • Flagellants include parts for an optional Prophet of Doom and a standard bearer; arms and heads are interchangeable across the unit.
  • Outriders may be assembled as Pistoliers and can be personalised with a variety of arms, heads and accessories; an optional champion and musician are included.
  • Many arms, heads and weapon components are interchangeable across the kit to allow further individualisation.
