A Horus Heresy Anthology
The Horus Heresy may be over, but its consequences are only beginning to unfold. In the wake of the galaxy's greatest civil war, the Imperium struggles to rebuild as heroes, survivors, and broken warriors confront the devastation left behind by betrayal and endless conflict.
Why You'll Want to Read It
Featuring stories from several acclaimed Black Library authors, this collection explores the closing moments of the Siege of Terra and the uncertain future that follows. Alongside the novella Garro: Knight of Grey, the anthology presents a series of tales that examine the cost of victory, the burden of survival, and the challenges facing a shattered Imperium.
The Story
With the final battle for Terra concluded, the Imperium enters a new and uncertain era. Worlds lie in ruin, loyalties have been tested, and the survivors of the conflict must come to terms with the scars left by the Horus Heresy.
Among these stories is the tale of Nathaniel Garro, whose duty leads him into a climactic confrontation with his corrupted former commander. Elsewhere, warriors, scholars, commanders, and ordinary survivors each face the difficult task of enduring a galaxy forever changed by war.
Together, these stories provide a compelling look at the transition between the Horus Heresy and the Imperium that emerges in its aftermath.
