The Story
Aestred Thurga serves as the Reliquant at Arms, a guardian entrusted with protecting the Imperium’s most sacred artifacts.
While transporting the fabled Sword of Saarim back to its rightful place on the necropolis world of Katerah, Aestred and her escort are ambushed by cultists devoted to the Plague God, who seize the relic. Shaken by her failure, she leads her fellow Sisters into a relentless campaign against the Chaos forces spreading across the planet, determined to reclaim the blade and restore her honor.
As the conflict intensifies, the dead themselves begin to stir, rising from their tombs across Katerah. Faced with a world descending into horror, Aestred must decide whether to safeguard the living or preserve the legacy of the fallen—confronting a painful realization that even the most devoted servant can fall short.
