Known for their brutal, attrition-based tactics and their willingness to sacrifice without hesitation, these soldiers are raised for battle from birth—tested, selected, and drilled relentlessly for their role as Krieg troopers.

This boxed set is the perfect way to start a new Death Korps of Krieg force – or bolster your existing Astra Militarum army – for games of Warhammer 40,000, all while saving money compared to buying the kits separately. A disciplined Command Squad, led by a formidable Lord Commissar, forms the core of the army. Supporting them are squads of versatile Krieg infantry, ideal for securing objectives and grinding down the foe. Specialized Combat Engineers and a pair of devastating Artillery Teams round out the force, giving you the firepower and battlefield control needed to overwhelm your opponents.

This boxed set builds 35 multipart plastic Astra Militarum miniatures:

• 7x Krieg Command Squad miniatures

• 2x Artillery Teams

• 5x Krieg Combat Engineers, plus 1x Remote Mine token

• 20x Death Korps of Krieg Troopers

The Lord Commissar in the Command Squad offers several customisation options, including a plasma pistol or whip, and either a power fist or a sheathed power sword paired with a pointing hand. One Veteran Guardsman may be armed with a laspistol, bolt pistol, or plasma pistol, along with a chainsword, power weapon, or trench club. Another can carry a boltgun, plasma gun, meltagun, or grenade launcher, and includes two backpack choices for grenades or launcher ammo. Additional Veterans bear the regimental standard, master vox, and alchemyk counteragents. A variety of extra accessories, such as shovels, allow you to add even more trench-war character.

Each Artillery Team can be built as a heavy mortar, siege cannon, heavy quad launcher, or multiple rocket launcher, with optional crew embellishments for added detail.

Krieg Combat Engineers can be equipped with combat shotguns or an autopistol and trench club. One may instead take a flamer, while another can be built as a remote mine controller. A Watchmaster can be assembled with a wide range of pistols – bolt, auto, plasma, or hand flamer – and melee weapons including a chainsword, power weapon, trench club, or grenade.

Up to two Death Korps troopers can be built as Watchmasters with choices of plasma pistol, laspistol, or bolt pistol and either a chainsword or power weapon. Two troopers may be armed with long-las rifles, two with grenade launchers, two with flamers, and two with meltaguns or plasma guns. Vox-operators include build options for binoculars or a grenade in the left hand, and up to two troopers may be equipped as medics. Extra bayonets, pickaxes, pouches, grenades, and other accessories allow extensive customisation.

This set includes 1x Death Korps of Krieg Transfer Sheet with 803 high-quality waterslide transfers, featuring squad markings, regiment numbers, vehicle and artillery insignia, Krieg glyphs, and minefield indicators.
