Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Ruins of Dol Guldur

With the arrival of Sauron at Dol Guldur, the once-green Greenwood was steeped in fear and corruption. The malign influence of the Necromancer spread through the forest, twisting it into the dark and dreaded realm known as Mirkwood. Though the shadow deepened, it did not go unnoticed by the wise. To conceal his growing power, Sauron eventually fled eastward, and with his departure the grip of darkness loosened. Over time, Dol Guldur was abandoned, its towers and halls collapsing into ruin beneath creeping roots and decay.

This terrain set contains a collection of plastic ruined scenery themed around the shattered remains of Dol Guldur — the Hill of Sorcery — deep within southern Mirkwood.

The kit includes a crumbling statue, a broken staircase, a heavy metal gate, a dead tree, and lengths of grasping vines, along with scattered skulls and skeletal remains. The Ruins of Dol Guldur are fully modular, allowing you to assemble the pieces in a wide variety of configurations to create your own unique terrain features. Multiple sets can be combined to construct larger ruins or sprawling fortress remnants.

This terrain kit comprises 136 plastic components. These scenery pieces are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
