Distant kin to the troggoths that lurk in caves and mountains, Marshcrawla Sloggoths are ponderous, patient predators. With long, grasping limbs, they snatch unsuspecting prey from burrows and bog-beds alike. In Kruleboyz society, cunning grots ride these hulking beasts into battle, strapping crude howdahs to their backs and using snatcha-stikks and catcha nets to drag enemies screaming from the fight.
While the grot crew delight in capturing beasts and victims for their masters’ cruel amusement, they also serve a far darker purpose. Beating great drums atop the Sloggoth’s back, they pound out a rhythm said to echo the thunderous hooves of Kragnos, the End of Empires. This primal cadence surges across the battlefield, whipping nearby orruks and their allies into a destructive frenzy. Rather than charging the front lines, Marshcrawla Sloggoths prowl the edges of battle, isolating vulnerable targets while their drums fuel the Waaagh! around them.
This 43-piece multipart plastic kit builds one Marshcrawla Sloggoth with a howdah crewed by vicious, mischievous grots. The kit includes multiple build options, including two head choices for the Sloggoth and interchangeable catchin’ nets and snatchin’ stikks for two of the crew — ideal for fielding several of these loathsome beasts with varied appearances.
