Tyranids: Crusher Stampede

When the Tyranids encounter a target too powerful for a standard swarm to overwhelm, the Hive Mind deploys what Imperial tacticians grimly call a Crusher Stampede. These terrifying bio-formations are built around massive monsters and towering synapse creatures, supported by living artillery platforms such as the Tyrannofex and Exocrine. Together, they crash through enemy lines with unstoppable momentum, obliterating anything unfortunate enough to stand before them.

This boxed set is the perfect foundation for a new Tyranids force—or a devastating expansion to an existing swarm—while saving money compared to buying each kit individually. A Neurotyrant, accompanied by its parasitic Neuroloids, leads a collection of hulking bio-behemoths: a Screamer-Killer, a Tyrannofex, a Haruspex, and a Maleceptor. Each organism is lethal on its own, but together they form a wall of chitin and muscle that few armies can hope to slow, let alone stop.

This boxed set builds 7 multipart plastic Tyranid miniatures:

• 1x Neurotyrant, with 2x Neuroloids

• 1x Screamer-Killer

• 1x Tyrannofex (can alternatively be built as a Tervigon)

• 1x Haruspex (can alternatively be built as an Exocrine)

• 1x Maleceptor (can alternatively be built as a Toxicrene)

Build Options & Variants

Tyrannofex / Tervigon

• Tyrannofex weapon choices include:

  • Rupture cannon (anti-vehicle)

  • Acid spray (armour-melting torrent)

  • Fleshborer hive (horde-shredding bio-weapon)

• Can be built instead as a Tervigon, spawning broods of Termagants and armed with crushing claws or scything talons.

Haruspex / Exocrine

• Haruspex is a brutal close-combat feeder-beast.

• May alternatively be built as an Exocrine, equipped with a devastating bio-plasmic cannon.

Maleceptor / Toxicrene

• Maleceptor is a psychic titan capable of melting enemy minds.

• Alternatively builds into a Toxicrene, a venomous monster designed to poison infantry at close range.

• Both variants can be posed in a crouched or attacking stance, including an optional crushed Space Marine Terminator underfoot.
